 Turnkey Project Development cc is a draughting and designing company, which offers draughting services to every industry.
Most of our staff have been trained by the Academy of Advanced Technology and have either completed, or are still in the process of completing the Project Design Course. This course has both SAQA and NQF approval. Most of our staff are proficient in six draughting disciplines i.e. Architectural, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Piping. They have all been trained on AutoCAD, and most of them have had training on ArchiCAD and Rivet. For finer details of the course content, please see the attachment.
In a climate where competent staff are hard to come by and job hopping has become the norm, we can almost guarantee that a company is permanently staffed with a draughts person. We will endeavor to supply a candidate suitable to the needs of the company. However, if for whatever reason either the company or the candidate finds the arrangement unsuitable, we will replace the person with immediate effect. In the process, we would go out of our way to make the transition as smooth as possible. A replacement candidate would be sent in to overlap with the existing candidate for the amount of time required to get up to speed with the demands of the job. This would be at no extra cost to the company.

Secondments
Recruitments In House Draughting Services We provide an in house draughting service for smaller companies and individuals without draughting stations on their own premises or for companies that are faced with a temporary extraordinary work load that they are finding difficult to complete. As there is such an enormous variety of requirements on draughting jobs, it is next to impossible to detail what our terms would be. Each job would be evaluated and costed out individually upon inquiry. Secondment We offer our staff for secondments to our clients that may prefer a more personal working relationship with a draughts person than would be possible if they were to outsource their projects to an outside drawing office. The time period of the contract could vary from between a single day to a multiple year’s contract. This is how a secondment works:
- The designer/draughtsman remains our employee. We handle all Admin, HR functions and labour issues.
- We set up a company-to-company contract and present you with a single service invoice. This is a lot more tax friendly than a labour bill.
- We also minimize your risk of ending up with employees that are incompetent but cannot be made redundant. If our employee performs unsatisfactorily, we simply replace him/her with another one at no extra cost. Even though we are willing to replace our employee/s, we are sensitive to our client's needs and try to keep the working relationship as stable as possible to minimize the costs that are inevitable with staff-turnover.
- You save on recruitment costs and suffer no risks associated to employment of staff.
Fee Structure Our rates are market related and are entirely dependant on the caliber of staff member, the project and the length of the contract required. They can vary between R60 p/h for the junior draughts people to R450 p/h for a competent draughtsperson with adequate experience. Overtime We are prepared to let staff work a maximum of 5 hours overtime per month, after which they will be charged out at one and a half times that of the agreed price on normal working days and two times on Sundays and public holidays. This policy is put in place to avoid any unnecessary exploitation of staff members. Buy out Turnkey Project Development cc subsidizes the training of most of our staff members and in return, they are required to work back this debt to the company for a two-year period once they enter workplace. Whilst we do not encourage buy outs of our staff members during this time, in circumstances where it is deemed necessary, we will consider it after the candidate has worked off a minimum of 12 months to Turnkey Project Development cc. The buy out fee will be structured on a pro rata basis of the time period worked back. For staff members that have completed the work back period, a finder’s fee will be charged at fifteen percent of the annual salary. Turnkey Project Development cc reserves the right not to release a staff member from their contract. Recruitment Turnkey Project Development offers the services of a standard recruitment company to those companies not comfortable with secondments. This service is only offered when the candidate required has completed the contractual obligations to Turnkey Project Development cc. Terms and conditions of this service are available on request.
